The Billing & Subscription page lets you manage everything related to your PromptAsCode subscription. View your current plan, track API usage, manage payment methods, and access your billing history.

Accessing Billing

    Log In - Ensure you're logged into your PromptAsCode account.

    Open Sidebar - The sidebar appears on the left when you're logged in.

    Find Account Section - Scroll to the bottom of the sidebar.
  • 4
    Click 'Billing' - Click the Billing link to open subscription management.

Direct Link

Access billing directly at: /settings/billing

Current Plan

View your active subscription details:

Plan Name

Shows your current subscription tier (e.g., Free, Pro, Enterprise). Each tier has different features and limits.

Status Badge

Indicates if your subscription is active, past due, or cancelled.

Next Billing Date

For paid plans, shows when your next payment will be processed.

Usage Tracking

Monitor your API usage and stay within your plan limits:

Usage Metrics

API Calls

Number of API calls used this billing period vs your limit. A progress bar shows your consumption percentage.

Total API Calls

Cumulative count of all API calls made this month.

Tokens Used

Total tokens processed across all API calls.

Cost This Month

Your current spend based on usage (for usage-based plans).

Usage Warning

When you reach 80% of your API call limit, a warning message appears. Consider upgrading your plan to avoid service interruption.

Payment Methods

Manage how you pay for PromptAsCode:

Free Plan Users

No payment method required. You can use PromptAsCode with the free tier limits without entering any payment information.

Paid Plan Users

Your credit card is shown with the last 4 digits. You can update your payment method or add a new card through the billing portal.

Updating Payment Method

  1. Click "Manage Billing" or "Update"
  2. You'll be redirected to our secure payment portal
  3. Enter your new card details
  4. Save changes and return to PromptAsCode

Billing History

Access your past invoices and receipts:

What's Available

  • Invoice date and amount
  • Payment status (paid, pending, failed)
  • Download invoices as PDF
  • View itemized charges

Note

Billing history appears after your first successful payment. Free tier users won't see any history until they upgrade to a paid plan.

Upgrading Your Plan

    Click 'Upgrade Plan' - From the billing page, click the Upgrade Plan button.

    Compare Plans - You'll be taken to the pricing page to compare available plans.
  • 3
    Select New Plan - Choose the plan that best fits your needs.
  • 4
    Complete Payment - Enter payment details if needed and confirm your upgrade.
  • 5
    Start Using New Features - Your new limits and features are available immediately.

Proration

When upgrading mid-billing cycle, you're typically charged a prorated amount for the remainder of the current period. The full new rate applies from your next billing date.

  • Upgrade before hitting limits to avoid service interruption
  • Download invoices for expense tracking and reimbursement
  • Contact support if you need a custom enterprise plan
